Rosedale Tractor Ltd is looking for a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team in Rosedale, BC. This is a full-time, permanent position working on a wide variety of farm and agricultural equipment — including tractors, skid steers, wheel loaders, round balers, and attachments from the brands we represent. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, and repair tractors, skid steers, wheel loaders, and farm implements
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and safety inspections
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Prepare new equipment for delivery and customer handover
- Maintain accurate service records and work orders
- Communicate repair findings and recommendations clearly to service staff
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe at all times
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or Agricultural Equipment Technician
- Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (HDET) certification, or actively working toward it
- Hands-on experience with farm equipment (tractors, implements, loaders, balers, etc.)
- Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Valid BC driver's licence
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship
